Pension Svoboda is found on the Great Sun Plain in Pec pod Sněžkou about 500 m from the town center, in one of the most beautiful localities of the Krokonoše National Park at 890 m above the sea level and with a nice outlook to the valley. Pec pod Sněžkou offers wide options of active leisure throughout the year. It takes pride in having the finest ski terrains and conditions both for the beginners and for the experienced skiers.

It is built in the Krkonoše style offering a pleasant family environment with stylish furniture, home-made cuisine and welcoming staf. The boarding choices – a buffet breakfast, half-board with 3-course menu. In the restaurant is free WI-FI connection. The rooms are equipped with social facilities – shower enclosures or a bathtub. The boarding house has its own parking area during summer as well as winter. There is for the guest heated outside whirlpool for extra charge and in summer time outside 9m long swimingpool and small swimingpool for children.

The mountain hotel Děvín is also a suitable tourist starting point both for hiking or cross country skiing to the ridge of the East Krkonoše – the main path up to the Výrovka hut and the Luční bouda hut starts just here. There is another new and less demanding path around Pec. Zelený, Modrý and Obří důl (Green, Blue and Giant Pit) as well as the bottom station of a chair lift going to Sněžka (the highest mount of Czech Republic – 1602 metres above the sea level) are well accessible, too. There is also a training slope with a ski lift for beginning skiers 300 metres from the hotel whereas the main ski centre in Pec is about 1 km far away and is easily accessible on skis using a lift which gets you there just from the hotel (see more information in Sport activities section).

The ski tow, which is found right next to the boarding house has ideal conditions for the beginning and children skiers. There is a ski school available right at the boarding house. The main ski slopes are available by a ski tow or a ski bus. The summer activities are suitable for the mountain hiking lovers, biking or other sports activities.
